School of Higher Vocational Education unswervingly adhere to career-oriented as the fundamental orientation. At the same time, it created a high level of diversification and internationalization as the goal, and actively explored a variety of academic training mode, and adhere to international cooperation, integration of production and education, development of roads colleges and enterprises. It introduce, absorb, and integrate advanced vocational education concepts, methods and models from Germany, Sweden, the United States, Australia and Taiwan, and train students to a new era of skilled personnel with an international perspective, modern cultural knowledge, and practical ability.

The college opened a total of 21 specialties, which contains "CNC Technology", "Mold Design and Manufacturing," "Communications Technology", "Computer Application Technology" and other mechanical and electrical specialties, "Finance and Insurance", "Business Management" and other Financial specialties; "Applied English", "International Business", "Hotel Management", "Exhibition Planning and Management", "Computer Network Technology", "Logistics Management" and other specialties which cooperated with America and Australia, which "characters design" Hong Kong and Shanghai Cooperation, which other economic development needs in Shanghai.

The specialties are favored by the candidates, and the graduate employment prospects are generally optimistic.

The college has a reasonable structure of teachers. In-service teachers have high academic qualifications of high professional title, and enterprise engineers have rich experience. In the meanwhile, there are some foreign teachers in our university throughout the year.
