International students at Tibet University live in a dormitory on campus located minutes away from the heart of Lhasa. International students are not permitted to live off campus in Lhasa.All students are required to go back home during winter vocation.
Dormitory: TU offers a single-person dorm room to each international student. Each room is equipped with an ensuite bathroom/shower, a kitchen, and Internet connection. The International Students’ dormitory also has common areas with washing machines, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, a hot water machine, and an oven for students’ use.
Board: While each student room is equipped with a kitchen and gas stove burner for cooking, students can eat on campus at the cafeteria as well as find many restaurants close to the campus featuring Tibetan, Chinese, Muslim, and vegetarian cuisines. Gas costs are charged separately from the room fee, according to the meter reading in the respective dormitory.
