(1) Take the following documents to the International Office for registration:

1. YLU admission notice (original)

2. JW202 form (original)

3. A valid passport with student (X) visa

4. Education certificates (original)

5. Physical examination record for foreigners (original)

6. Eight copies of personal photo (passport-photo-sized, two-inch)

(2) Luggage Guide

International students need to bring their own laptops, daily-used medicines, clothes suitable for all four seasons and bank cards. The winter in Yulin is cold, so please also bring thick coats. Bedding and other basic facilities are supplied in each room. A public computer is provided in the common room, and basic kitchen utensils are also provided in the shared kitchen.

(3) Transportation

Yulin has several bus stations, a train station and an airport with flights to Xi’an, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Chengdu, Tianjin, Taiyuan, Yinchuan and other major cities in China. Both the main bus station and railway station are just 10 minutes away from YLU by taxi, and the cost is around 10 yuan. The airport is 25 minutes away from YLU by taxi, and the cost is around 50 yuan.

(4) Helpful Tips

YLU will arrange a free pick-up service for international students, and the service is free for the first time, so please email or phone us your bus, train or flight details before coming to Yulin. Snacks will be prepared in your room for your convenience.
