HDU provides Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship and HDU International Student Scholarship.

The maximum scholarship is RMB30,000 (for master and doctoral programs), RMB20,000 (for bachelor programs) and RMB6,000 (for Chinese language programs).

HDU also provides Special Awards Scholarship for awarding students who study diligently, public service, participating in artistic and athletic activities and passing HSK, etc.
