1. Application Form and Timing
Persons who wants to enroll for the autumn semester are requested to apply to the International Students’ Office of XAU before May 1st of the same year. For the spring semester, apply before November 1st of the prior year.
2. Documents for application
Applicants can ask for the Information for International Students and the Enrollment Application Form for International Students in XAU by contacting the International Students’ Office of XAU or visiting the XAU website.
Applicants need to supply:
1.1 Enrollment Application Form
1.2 2 photocopies of passport
1.3 8 personnel standard passport size photos
1.4 A copy of the graduation certificate from the last formal schooling
1.5 Those applicants older than 24 years old need to submit a resume in Chinese or English. Those younger than 17 years old need to submit a resume for each of his/her parents in Chinese or English.
1.6 Payment of 600 RMB for the application and registration fee.
3. Once application documents, application and registration fee are received, the International Students’ Office will process them and upon approval, issue you a XAU Admission Notice and an Application Form for the visa necessary for international students in China (JW202 Form).
4. After being accepted, please apply for an X visa at your local Chinese Embassy. Be sure to bring the XAU Admission Notice and JW202 forms. Register at XAU on time in accordance with the XAU Admission Notice.
