WFMU is a special institute for enrolling and training foreign students and promoting overseas educational cooperation with foreign institutions. Now there are more than 600 foreign students at WFMU, including 410 undergraduates and 195 students in the short-term programs. The students are mainly from India, Nepal, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan and Vietnam.
WFMU is a very open university and welcomes foreign students to study in all of her specialties. So far, the specialties which have the most foreign undergraduates are Clinical Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Language, Business, Culture and Public Communication.
