Today LZU offers 84 bachelor programs, 187 master programs, 56 doctoral programs and 12 Post-doctoral R&D specialties. The university has 4,202 staffs, of which 1,758 are full-time teachers, including 388 professors, 822 associate professors, 280 Ph.D. supervisors and 9 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering. Guide for living on campus

I) Accommodation
Lanzhou University will provide each international student with a clean, quiet and comfortable living environment during their stay on the campus.

Note: It is compulsory for the international students to be accommodated  for the first semester but may choose to live outside the campus after the second semester, but they should  sign a safety agreement for International Students and submit a copy of their rental contract to the office. They must also register their address with the nearest police station for accommodation registration.

II) Food
International students may choose to have their daily meals at the canteen located in the main campus or at the restaurants located outside the campus. The basic living expenses in Lanzhou is estimated at RMB 400�?00 per month.

III) Medical service
The university clinic can provide medical service for all international students, and it is very convenient for students to visit the Provincial People’s Hospital or No.1 and No.2 Hospital of Lanzhou University, all of which are in the vicinity of the main campus.

IV) Transportation
Lanzhou University is located in the downtown area in the east part of Lanzhou City, just 1 km from the city’s railway station. The location is central and makes travel convenient to anywhere in the city. There are abundant service facilities around the university including supermarkets, banks, post offices and bus stations, etc.
