At present, there are 920 full-time teachers in the university, and among them 659 have got their master degrees and 177 of them possess doctor degrees. Up to now, 442 teachers have been conferred with senior professional titles with 107 of them entitled Professors. Among the teachers there are 2 academicians (concurrent post), 1 state-level member of the “New Century Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talent Project”, 3 “Wanjiang Scholar” chair professors, 2 provincial outstanding specialty talents, 6 provincial-level star teachers, 6 provincial-level academic and technological leading teachers, 8 outstanding university disciplinary talents in Anhui, 27 university disciplinary leading teachers among the young and middle-aged in Anhui, 57 excellent young university teachers in Anhui, 14 “State-level Excellent Teachers” or “May 1st Labor Medal” winners, 13 teachers enjoying special government allowance.
