Getting Ready To Apply
To successfully apply to XJTLU, you will need the following documents:
1.certificates of education qualifications and transcripts, translated into English;
2.certificates of English language qualifications such as IELTS, TOEFL or other acceptable English qualifications (as required);
3.two references (at least one of these should be linked to your academic background);
4.photocopy of your passport.
All documents are not required to begin an application; some documents may be uploaded at the later stage. XJTLU may require additional documents or an interview to assess your academic qualifications for particular programmes.
Apply Online
Applications should be submitted via the online application system. Begin an application on your programme webpage of choice. For more information, please visit our admissions website: www.xjtlu.edu.cn/en/admissions/undergraduate/progromme. After submitting your application form successfully, you will receive a confirmation email from international@xjtlu.edu.cn.You may login to view your application form at any time and upload any remaining supporting documents.
The Closing Date for Undergraduate Applications is 30 June for September Intake.
Applications will be considered as they are received; we encourage you to submit your application well in advance of the deadline.
Getting Ready To Apply
Make sure you have prepared the following documents to upload onto the application system. Documents required at the initial application stage include:
1.Certificates of education qualifications and transcripts, translated into English (scanned)
2.Personal statement (which you type directly into the online system)
3.Students who receive a conditional offer will be required to provide two satisfactory letters of reference.
We reserve the right to request additional documents or an interview to assess your academic qualifications for particular programmes.

After submitting your application form successfully, you will receive a confirmation email from pgadmissions@xjtlu.edu.cn. You may login to view your application form and track your status at any time.

Upon arrival at XJTLU, you will be required to provide the following original documents:
1.Official final versions of transcripts and degree certificates.
2.Certificates of English language qualifications such as IELTS, TOEFL or other acceptable English qualifications (where required).
These documents are essential to complete your registration and commence your studies.
The Closing Date for Postgraduate Applications(for September 2015 entry)
30th June (international students)
31st July (for Chinese nationals)
We encourage you to submit your application well before this date.

Ph.D. Applications may be submitted at any time.
If English is not your first language, but you are following a full-time degree programme delivered wholly in English, you will normally be exempt from the English language requirements.
If you have not studied in English at degree level, you will need to provide evidence of your English proficiency. You should normally possess IELTS or TOEFL as listed in the table, or equivalent.
For masters applicants, if you miss the English language requirements by 0.5 of an IELTS band, or similar number for other English exams, you can apply to take our 4-week intensive English presessional.
