XJTLU provides a range of services to all students to help ensure safety, health and well-being. Services include help booking accommodation and orientation sessions covering essential knowledge and successful strategies for your academic and student life. The Language Centre offers English language support, and study of other foreign languages, such as Spanish, at all levels.
The Dushu Lake Higher Education Town
The accommodation facilities are located within the Dushu Lake Higher Education Town and managed privately by the Suzhou Industrial Park Education Development & Investment Limited Company (SIPEDI). They also serve students studying at other institutions.
Reserving Accommodation
We will assist in booking accommodation with SIPEDI when you have received your unconditional offer and paid your deposit to secure your place at the University.
Cost Of Living
Suzhou boasts a reasonable cost of living. Accommodation expenses (excluding utilities and internet access) for international students range from RMB15,500 to RMB31,000 (approx. USD 3,000-5,000) per year, depending on the type of accommodation you choose.
