There are different kinds of scholarships and grants available to qualified student applicants. Detailed information regarding terms of applications can be obtained from the Student Affairs Office of the college. (Tel:8620-87205945 email: xuesk@hwy.jnu.edu.cn)
A. The International Students Scholarship, which falls into two categories and three levels, is set up for excellent international students who study in our college for at least half a year (not including audit students and short-term programs students). Qualified applicants can file their application directly with the college.
B. The Backbone Overseas Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship provided by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council is offered to international students who come to our College for undergraduate programs or graduate program diploma education programs. Students who get this scholarship must engage themselves in overseas Chinese education after finishing their studies here. Applicants to this scholarship must file their application with the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council beforehand and sign the binding legal documents with the relevant employers.
C. Students-in-need Scholarship provided by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council is set up for overseas Chinese students. Applicants can file an application with local Chinese embassies or consulates, and after the application has been verified and approved by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, students can receive this scholarship from the college.
D. The Overseas Chinese Education Special Scholarship, funded by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, is set up for overseas Chinese, who have dedicated themselves to overseas Chinese education, who are under the age of 35 and are applying for the fall-intakes undergraduate program of overseas Chinese education of the College of Chinese Language and Culture of Jinan University. Students who receive this scholarship must engage themselves in overseas Chinese education after finishing their studies here. Applicants for this scholarship can file their application with the local Overseas Chinese community or the Chinese consulate or embassy and sign binding legal documents with them. |
