Procedures for long-term study and the way to obtain a visa

1.To get Application form of Wuyi University and Physical examination form from the email:wyxyhwjyxy@163.com.

2.To submit the following materials to the office of Overseas Education College(OEC):

(1) completed Application form of Wuyi UniversityandPhysical examination form.

(2) copies of passport.

(3) copies of academic certificates and transcripts.

(4) recommendation letters(at least two).

(5) study plan(more that 400 words).

3.Admission

The office of OEC will check materials and pick out the qualified applicants to send them Visa appliction for study in China(JW202) and admission letter after 15 working days.

4.Visa formalities

Process the X visa: go to the Chinese embassy with a) passport, b) admission letter, c) visa application for study in China and d) physical examination record for foreigner, to process the X visa who will study for more the six months in China.

5.Registration procedures

The new students are required to register and pay before the deadline stated in the admission letter. For whom that can’t register punctually, he needs to ask for leave to OEC in the form of written. And he can be postponed admission when gets the agreement. Otherwise, we will cancel the admission qualification.

Procedures for short-term study and the way to obtain a visa

1.Personal

(1) To submit Application form of Wuyi University and Physical examination form to office of OEC.

(2) The OEC office will send the admission letter to student who can be hold the L visa.

2.Group

(1) The organizer need to submit the name, sex, nationality, age, passport and the level of Chinese of members.

(2) The organizer can go to the embassy or consulate to process a group visa and also directly apply for L visa.

Admission Requirements for International Student Candidates:

A. Non-Chinese citizens with good health;

a) Graduate from high school or pass the Abitur

b) Pass Level 5 of HSK (Chinese Language Proficiency Test) for Social Science Discipline study or Level 4 for Natural Science study, while Chinese Language study does not have this requirement.

You can apply for:

1. Non-Degree Education:

a). Advanced Chinese

b) Diplomas of Different Majors (sit-in with Chinese language competence)

c) Short-Term Classes of Chinese Culture Experiencing

2. Bachelor Degree Education

a) Specially designed for international students: Chinese Language, Tea Culture & Science.

b) Other majors available in WYU (Chinese language proficiency required).

Entry Formalities of China：

(1) Process the X visa: go to the Chinese embassy with a) passport, b) admission notification, c) visa application for study in China and d) physical examination record for foreigner, to process the X visa who will study for more the six months in China, F visa for the applicants who will study for less than six months in China.

(2) Health Certificate and Residence Permit:

A. Health Certificate: go to the government-appointed health and quarantine department with a) passport, b) admission notification, c) physical examination record for foreigner and d) blood assay (original documents), to deal with the health certificate;

B. Residence Permit: go to the local public security department with a) passport, b) admission notification, c) apply for the residence permit.
