Founded in 1958, Zhejiang A&F University (ZAFU) is a comprehensive university with 53 undergraduate programs and 46 graduate programs covering eight areas namely agriculture, technology, science, literature, management, economics, law and art. It is located in the outskirt of famous tourism city Hangzhou. ZAFU has an international student population of 500 (including short-term and long –term). Besides the advanced mandarin program, the university opens 50 of its undergraduate programs to international students. Meanwhile, the university also offers tailor-making short –term program for international students to learn mandarin and experience Chinese culture as well as typical southern China culture.

Established in 1959, Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University (ZCMU) is located in Hangzhou, a world-famous tourist resort known for its beautiful scenery and rich cultural heritage. The university has 14 doctoral degree programs, 49 master-degree programs, 26 undergraduate programs among which there are 5 unique specialties at state level and 14 at provincial level. Over 600 students from different countries and regions are studying at ZCMU with programs covering Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Massage Techniques etc.

ZAFU provide joint medical bachelor’s degree program with Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) for bachelor degree. International students can learn Chinese Language in ZAFU for 1 year and then another 4 years in ZCMU for medical bachelor’ s degree programs.

Applications for admission are accepted from:

1. March 1 to July 31 for fall semester;

2. September 1 to January 31 for spring semester.

Applicant should complete the application process as early as possible, as an early application often yields an early decision.
