Application Documents
1. Admission form for International Students of Yunnan Normal University (fill in the form online)
2. A copy of passport photo page.
3. Original diploma, certificate and academic transcript of the highest education, with photocopies, too. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
4. If there are any HSK certificates, please provide the originals and photocopies.
5. Two passport photo-sized pictures.
6. If the international students of other schools in China apply to transfer to YNNU, they still need to provide documents as the following:
(1) School Transfer Certificate with official seal.
(2) Photocopy of visa or resident permit.
Application Procedures
1.Application Online. Please visit http://sics.ynnu.edu.cn/ for the online application or you can also download the application form and fill it out.
2.Confirmation by Email. After submitting the application form successfully, please confirm your registration by sending an email to admissionynnu@yahoo.com.cn (except those who filled the form out at YNNU).
3.Checking Application documents. SICS will check the applicants’ documents.
4.Enrollment confirmation: If the applicants are qualified, SICS will prepare the authorized Visa Application Form (JW202) and Admission Notice for you.
5.Posting Documents. The authorized JW202 and Admission Notice will be mailed through express mail service to the applicants after it has been confirmed by both sides.
6.Visa Application. Applicants should apply for a Study Visa (X visa) or Visiting Visa (F visa) at the Chinese embassy or consulate general in your country with the JW202 form and Admission Notice and other related documents. Applicants should come to our university to register before the date written on Admission Notice. For short-term international students, the applicants can apply for a tourist visa (L visa) to come to our university. We will help you to change visa into a student’s residence permit after you register and pay tuition. You will be responsible for the fee for changing your visa or applying for a residence permit.
