1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health. Applicants shall abide by the laws of China and the regulations of Yunnan Normal University.

2. Applicants for non-degree students must have senior high school diploma or an equivalent education level aged from 18 to 60.

3. Applicants for bachelor’s degree must have senior high school diploma with transcript and be the age of 18-45.

4. Applicants for master’s degree must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 45.

5. Applicants for doctoral degree must have master’s degree and be under the age of 45.

Note: In principle, applicants should be qualified with certain Chinese proficiency. But those who do not meet the Chinese proficiency requirement or who are without any HSK certificates can take elementary Chinese study or join in small classes program prior to the major study. They also have to get correspondingly Chinese proficiency after enrolled.
