Curriculum
For SWUST degree, the international students needn’t study some courses such as College English, Morals and Ethics and Fundamentals of Law course, but they must pass HSK examination and study some Chinese cultural courses required by Chinese Ministry of Education.
Cost
1)Application Fee：RMB 400/time/person
2)Tuition Fee:RMB17000/year/person (Tuition for applicants who choose the Bachelor of Art Degree program); RMB20000/year/person (Tuition for applicants who choose the Bachelor of Science Degree program)
3)Accommodation:RMB14000 for an apartment (international students house with all necessary living conditions. ) or rent off campus by the applicants themselves.
How to apply
1.Entry Requirements
*High School Diploma or above;
*Age: from 18 to 30;
*Healthy;
*English Proficiency: completion of one of the following exams:
1.paper-based TOEFL (minimum score of 550)
2.computer-based TOEFL (minimum score of 213)
3.Internet-based TOEFL (minimum score of 80)
4.IELTS (minimum score of 6.0, with no individual bands below 5.0)
*Chinese Proficiency: HSK4 or above
Applicants with scores below these may be offered conditional admission. Students admitted with English as a Second Language (ESL) condition are required to take an internal placement exam and may be required to take ESL classes.
2. Study period: 4-5 years (Applicants have to study in SWUST at least 2 years)
3. Application time:* 20th March to 20th June for Fall Semester;* 20th Sep. to10th Dec. for Spring semester
4. Application Materials and Admission Procedures
1)Register on the official website http://admission.swust.edu.cn and complete SWUST Application form, print the form
2)The notarization of the highest diploma
3)Certificate of the Language proficiency (IELTS, IBT, HSK)
4)Official academic transcript
5)One photocopy of valid passport
6)Physical Examination Form (attached and can be requested from Chinese Consulates or Embassy abroad)
7)3 passport-sized latest photos
8)CV Form
9)Others: kinds of certificates including sports, arts and other relevant certificates to show your talent are warmly welcome.
10)Recommendation letter (Optional）
Notes:
1)According to the application deadline, the Admission Letter will be posted to candidates in early August; the time may be in July if candidates apply early.
2) For the official language is not English-speaking countries, an interview examination may be required if necessary.
3)Once accepted, a Letter of Admission and Visa Application Form （JW202）will be posted to the candidates for visa application.
