I. School calendar
The academic year is divided into two semesters. The first semester begins in early September and the second semester begins in mid or late February. You are Welcome to enroll at any time.
II. Application for admission
1. Download the Application Form for Admission of the Chinese Language and Culture College of Huaqiao University, fill it out and post it to the admission office of our college.    Download
2. For the students who want to enroll in the Chinese language teaching specialty, the Chinese language specialty under regular college program or vocational training program, or class for further studying the Chinese language, when our college has received the application form, we will post both the JW202 Form and the Admission Notice to them within one month if the students are qualified after our college’s assessmssent. Students may apply for an education visa using the document mentioned above at the Chinese Embassy. If students don’t hav e enough time to go through those procedures, they can also enter China on a travel visa to enroll in the college, and our college will assist them in obtaining proper status and legal residence.
III. Registration Procedure
1. Freshmen should follow the entrance procedure according to the date written on the Admission Notice, and hand in their own admission notices, passports, and provide a copy of the academic credential certificate (high school diploma) if the freshmen graduate from a senior high school or a even higher degree, pay for tuition, hotel expsense and other fees.
2.Students should come to our college office to begin the process for a foreign residence permit and physical examination within one week. Our college will assist students to go through these procedures, but they will be responsible for paying for said procedures by themselves. Students will not be qualified to study in our college if they fail to pass the physical examination. If students have taken a physical examination before, our college will not acknowledge it unless they can show the original physical examination certificate, which must gain the verification of the Health Office of China.
IV. Airport Meeting Service
Our college offers an airport meeting service for freshmen coming to Xiamen airport for a fee or 60RMB. Here is the reservation telephone number: +86-592-6068003. Students also can take a taxi to come to our college by themselves, and it will only take them about 15 minutes.
