Introduction of the Chinese Language and Culture College of Huaqiao University

The Chinese Language and Culture College of Huaqiao University (formerly the Jimei Continuation School for Overseas Students, Jimei Chinese Language and Culture College) located in the Xiamen Special Economic Zone .

Our college program focus is training overseas students in the Chinese language. It was one of the initial educational institutions that were given the authority to recruit students from abroad by the Chinese Education Department. It is one of the major bases for Chinese education authorized by the office of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council ,　one of the key schools, which takes on the special task of supporting Chinese language teaching of the neighboring countries, of the NOCFL(National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign language).  The HSK exam center is also set up here. The college has a faculty made up of experienced, well-educated Chinese teachers and also has complete facilities for teaching and accommodations, including advanced special function classrooms, language labs, multimedia classrooms, Internet classrooms and an electronic library, comfortable dormitories for students and also has many other facilities such as canteen, supermarket, playgrounds and so on. The college has a history of fifty years, and has gained recognition for its program in Southeast Asia.
