APPLICATION FORM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

How to apply

Applicants must send the required application materials to the international school of Guangdong Food and Drug vocational College before March and the application fee of 300RMB transferred as well(bank information can be checked later ).

Once application materials received, they will be assessed by the international school and then the major-related school. If you are successfully admitted, then the originaladmission letter and JW202 form which is necessary for X visa application will be delivered to you before March. With the above two paper, the student can go directly to apply for student visa in local Chinese embassy and come to China with “X”or“F”visa.

How to register

1．Passport must be showed for registration

2.Holding“admission letter” and “JW202”, students should come on time to register, settle accommodation and finish all payments.

In case of any incident, the student need to contact the international college in advance to ask for the permission of extension of registration and the maximum extension is 2 weeks.

3．The whole process of registration, student card, canteen card etc. will be in the charge of international school.

4．Safety education lesson will be given and then 《Foreign Students Safety Responsibility Pledges of Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College》、《Foreign Students for Insurance Claims in Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College》will be signed. Meanwhile school will assist students in doing physical examination, buying insurance and applying for residence permission etc.

Notices

1．There are 2 terms in school calendar, namely autumn from September to January and spring from March to July.

2．Students must go through all the procedures of registration to the university as soon as they arrive. And school will help them apply within ten days of arrival for the residency permit to the Local Municipal Public Security Bureau otherwise they have to pay the forfeit for the delay.

3．If students who are admittedcan’t register on time, they should apply for extension to school otherwise their seat will be cancelled

4．Upon transferring to another university or forsuspension of studies, if it’s within 2 weeks from the class opening, 70% tuition fee will be refunded; within 4 weeks, 50%; over 4 weeks, unrefundable. And hostel fee is charged according to the actual stay duration. Notice that the application fee is unrefundable anytime.

5．No picking up service is provided so please pay attention to the transportation.

6．The application form can be copied for use

7．Ten one-inch recent photos should be prepared for residence permission application and so on.

By bus or subway of Line 3 or 6 to Tianhe Coach Terminal, go opposite to the station or take off by Line 6 at exist A of Changban station, at last go by Bus 30 or 39 to Road Yinfu(School of Food and Medicine) or Bus 84 to Yu Xing Road Station
