Admission

1. Qualification Examination: After receipt of the application form, we will examine your application for admission and post the results of the examination onto our website (http://www.ptu.edu.cn/) as soon as possible. After confirmation of the admission list, we will send the “Notice of Admission” and “Application Form for Visa for International Students to China” (JW202). It takes at least eight weeks from the applicant’s application to the letter of admission.

2. Processing visas to China: The applicants who want to study at PTU should apply for visas to China at Chinese embassies and consulates abroad with passports, photographs, records of physical examination of foreigners, admission notice and JW202 form. Generally speaking, it is recommended to apply for study visas (X1 visa, it must be replaced by the residence permit within 30 days after entry. )

3. Registration: Please bring the original certificates such as passport, admission notice, JW202 form and so on, and register at the Academic Affairs Department of Putian University at the time specified in the admission notice. In order to avoid the trouble caused by the expiration of the visa, please register atPTU as soon as possible after arrival in China. Those who can’t register within the stipulated date due to special circumstances should contact our school in advance and be allowed to postpone admission for up to two weeks. Those who fail to take leave or whose leave is overdue shall be disqualified from enrollment except for legitimate reasons such as force majeure.

4. Expense payment: tuition fees and accommodation fees are payable after arriving school.
