Introduction
Bayin Guoleng Vocational and Technical College is a public comprehensive higher vocational college,established under the permissionof the government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, providing full-time education to students. It is located on Korla, where the capital of Xinjiang Bayin Guoleng Mengol Autonomous Prefecture lies. The school covers a land of 3700 Mu, with the building area of 1,81400 square meters. It accommodates over 120,000 books and fixed assets worthy of 200,000,000 yuan. What’s more, the school is also equipped with various laboratories, training rooms, language laboratories, e-reading rooms, internet and other modernized teaching facilities. At present, there are over 120,000 students at school.
The school also takes active part in all kinds of international cooperation and exchanges, making efforts to establish cooperation with well-known higher institutions and enterprises home and abroad. The international cooperation is unfolded through scientific research projects, joint education, exchanges between students and teachers and so on. Now the college has established cooperation and academic communication relationship with Japanese, Danish, Russian, Kalmyk, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolian universities. In 2003, with the approval of State Foreign Experts Bureau, the college became eligible to hire foreign experts. In 2006, it was listed among schools which were eligible to accept international students by Ministry of Education. Every year, the school will recruit international students from different countries and regions all over the world.
