I. Coverage and standard

上海政府奖学金分为A类奖学金和B类奖学金：

Shanghai Government Scholarship is divided into type A and type B:

1）A类奖学金内容如下：

提供奖学金生活费;

2）B类奖学金内容如下：

三、申请人资格

III. Eligibility

1、申请人须为就读上海地区高校的外国留学生。

1.applicants must be international students learning in colleges and universities in Shanghai

2、申请人的学历和年龄要求：

2. Education background and age limit

1）申请攻读学士学位的，须具有，年龄原则上不超过25周岁；攻读硕士学位的，须具有大学毕业及以上学历，年龄原则上不超过35周岁；

1) applicants for undergraduate studies must, in principle, be under the age of 25, and submit high school diploma and above. Those with college or university degrees or above,also in principle, must be under the age of 35.

2）申请本科预科学习的，应具有高中及以上学历，达到本科录取院校录取通知，年龄一般不超过23周岁；

2) applicants for preparatory courses prior to undergraduate studies must provide high school diplomas. Those with college and university admission notices must be under the age of 23.

3、申请人的语言水平要求：

申请人一般汉语水平（HSK）至少应该达到新4级（须提供新汉语水平考试证书）。同时，应满足招生院校对申请者的语言相关要求。

the HSK of applicants must be at new band four (with the new HSK certificate). In the meantime, they must meet relevant language requirements of the targeted university.

4、申请人获得中国政府或其它组织奖励的，不再享受上海市外国留学生政府奖学金。

4.Once an applicant obtains awards from the Chinese government or other organizations, he or she will not be offered Shanghai Government Scholarship at the same time.

1．上海市外国留学生政府奖学金申请表（可在“留学上海”网站下载）。

1. Application Form for Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students can be downloaded from www.study-shanghai.org

2．经公证的最高学历证明和学习成绩单；如申请人为在校学生或已就业，需同时提交本人所在学校或单位出具的在学证明或在职证明。

2. Highest diploma and transcripts of academic record (notarized photocopy). If applicants are university students or already employed, they should also provide documents of being university students or on-post employees.

3.来华学习或研究计划。

申请人应根据各高校留学生招生办公室规定，在报名期限内向所报考的本市高校提出申请

Applicants should submit their application to the colleges and universities they apply for according to the regulations of the respective international students offices before the registration deadline.
