Chinese Language Programs

Chinese Language Program (Regular)：6 levels (Elementary A, Elementary B, Intermediate A, Intermediate B, Advanced A, and Advanced B)

This program offers systematic and progressive Chinese classes which is available to Chinese learners at different levels. The program is for those who wish to enhance their Chinese progressively to a relatively high level with solid foundation.

Elementary A: For beginners who has limited knowledge about Pinyin and Chinese;

Elementary B: For those with basic Chinese and are able to express themselves in simple Chinese.

Intermediate A: For those with basic language skills and are able to have simple conversations on general topics in Chinese.

Intermediate B: For those who are able to have discussions on general topics in Chinese.

Advanced A: For those who understand Chinese news, and are able to fully express themselves in standard Chinese.

Advanced B: For those who understand Chinese news and contemporary literatures, and are able to fully express themselves in sophisticated Chinese.

Study Duration: Duration of the program is from one semester to six semesters.

Class Schedule: Monday- Friday, 20 classes each week (40 mins per class).

Certificate: Student who passes all exams will get a certificate of completion.

Main Courses: Intensive Chinese Reading, Oral Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese News Reading, Chinese Audio and Video Comprehensive Course, Daily Topics etc.

Selective Courses: Chinese Calligraphy, Tai-Chi, Paper Cutting, Chinese Tea Ceremony, Cantonese.

Extra-curriculum Activities: Community Survey, Talent Competition, Chinese Corner, Sports

Tuition and Fees:

a. Application fee: RMB 350 (US$55)

b. Tuition: RMB 8,800 (US$1,400) per semester. (* We offer a 10% discount for second class registration)

Chinese Language Program (Intensive)

This is a highly intensive language program to help students enhance their language competence so that they are able to study, work or live in China without any language problem. This program is intended for students who wish to acquire necessary language skills within a relatively short period.

Study Duration: One school year (school year can start either in spring semester or fall semester)

Class Schedule: Monday- Friday, 30 classes each week (40mins per class).
