Undergraduate Program of Japanese Language with Chinese and Japanese Bilingual Orientation
Program Objectives
To cultivate professionals who have international awareness and a good understanding of modern Chinese politics, economy and culture, who have the ability to promote friendly communication and cooperation with China, and, with both Chinese and Japanese proficiency and business knowledge and capability, who are qualified to work in fields such as trade, tourism, culture and education.

Basic Chinese, Intermediate Chinese, Advanced Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese Writing, Chinese Reading,, Computer Information Processing, Overview of Chinese economy, Sino -Japanese trade practice, Chinese Commercial Law Basis, Business Chinese, Cross-Culture Communication, Overview of China, internship, dissertation.
Faculty
School of Japanese Language and Culture boasts the best faculty in Zhejiang Province. Most teachers have a senior academic title or doctoral degree. All the professional teachers have rich teaching experience and a deep understanding of Japanese society and culture as they all studied or taught in Japan for years. Every year we have several Japanese teachers involved in our language teaching and help students master genuine Japanese. Professors such as WangBaoping and Wang Yong enjoy a high reputation in Chinese and Japanese academic circle.
Length, Credits and Degree
The length of curriculum is four years . Minimum credits for graduation: 130 credits. Qualified student will be granted Bachelor Degree of Arts in Literature.
Master Program of Translation with Chinese and Japanese Bilingual Orientation
Program Objectives
This program is designed to bring up senior translation talents who have a good command of both Japanese and Chinese and meet the demand of the development of Sino-Japan bilateral relations and cultural exchange in modern international society.
Main Courses
An Introduction to Chinese Language and Culture, Translation Theory and Practice, Basic Translation, Basic Interpretation, Chinese Business Reading, Advanced Chinese Conversation, Advanced Chinese Writing, Required Hours of Translation Practice for Graduation.
