Degree Program for International Students

Tianjin University has 52 bachelor programs, 151 Master programs and 92 Doctoral programs, with MBA, EMBA, MPA, and Engineering Master Program. If want to know more about our specialties, please refer to the specialties setting

1. Educational System
1). Bachelor (Educational system: 4-5years)
2). Master (Educational system: 2 years)
3). PhD (Educational system: 3 years)

2. Application Requirements
1)Bachelor Degree：
（1）An equivalent of China’s high-school graduation education; Over 18-years in age
2)．Master Degree: An equivalent of China’s college education; age from 18- 35 years old
3)．PhD Degree：An equivalent of China’s master education; age from 18- 35 years old
The international students, who apply for Degree Program but don’t reach the required Chinese level, can study Chinese for one year first in our university to obtain the HSK certificate and then start their major study.

3. Application Materials
1)． Application Form;
2)． HSK certificate(original and copy)（major in science: level 3 or above; major in Arts: level 6 or above);
3)． Copy of passport (Valid passport);
4)． 2 Color pictures (same size as picture on passport and one for application form);
5). Applications who apply for architecture need to submit two sketch;
6). Final education certificate and transcript; and recommendation letters and study plan．

 

Bachelor Degree Program：

1) Original or notarized high school certificate, non Chinese or English version should be with the notarized translation version in Chinese or English.
2）Original or notarized high school transcript, non Chinese or English version should be with the notarized translation version in Chinese or English.

Master Degree Program：

1）Original or notarized bachelor degree diploma;

2）Original or notarized transcripts in Bachelor period

3）Recommendation letters from two association professor or above

4）Study plan( in Chinese or English)

 

PhD Program：

1）Original or notarized Master degree diploma;

2）Original or notarized transcripts in Master period

3）Recommendation letters from two professor

4）Study plan( in Chinese or English)

★ Application materials will not be returned regardless of the result of application.

4. Choosing specialty
Applicants will be allowed to fill two specialties, and to indicate that whether they submit to being transferred to other specialty.

3．Medical insurance: the students, who study in China, when they enter the university, have to buy the medical insurance offered by China Ping An Insurance Company, 600RMB/year/student, 300RMB/half year/student. The insurance period should be more than 6 months.
4． Other fees, such as travel cost, learning materials, etc has to be beard by the students themselves

7. Admission
The way to select student is check student material, and then interview.
After the applicants submit material, the school he or she applies for will check their materials, and make interview, to get the qualified one.

8 Graduation, Completion and Degree granting

1). Degree students: In accordance with the rules of university, the student who meet all the graduation requirements and pass the thesis oral defense will be granted to the graduation certificate; who meet the related requirement will be granted the diploma
 2) The one who not qualified for graduation will be given the completion certificates; the one who drop out with excuse will be given the study certificate.
