EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITITIES ON CAMPUS
Covering an area of 1.5 km2 with lakes and trees, the university is well-known for its “Garden Campus”. There are various service establishments on campus, such as banks, hospital, post office, shops, laundries and
restaurants. The daily cost of food is US$5-6. Other facilities like comprehensive hospitals, supermarkets and restaurants are within a distance of 2 kilometers.
During study period and vacations, the university often arranges various extracurricular language practices，cultural，sports and recreational activities, such as lectures on Chinese history and culture, table tennis matches, performances of Chinese songs, sitcoms directed and played by international students. In these activities, international students can practice their Chinese and understand more about the 5000-year Chinese history and culture and strengthen the understanding and friendship between the students from different countries, thus making their life colorful.
