Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship
1、INTRODUCTION
Jiangsu Provincial Government has set up the "Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship" for international students in order to promote the development of higher education of International students in Jiangsu, to further improve the profile of Jiangsu Education to the world, to highlight the brand of "Study in Jiangsu" and to make Jiangsu a preferred province for international students to study in. This scholarship will be provided to those excellent overseas students or scholars to undertake full time study in universities and colleges of Jiangsu. It will also include those non-degree program students and exchange students in accordance with educational exchange agreements and MOUs between the Jiangsu Provincial Government and the governments of other states, institutions, universities and international organizations.
This scholarship includes full scholarship and partial scholarship. Full scholarship covers the following fees: tuition, accommodation (allowance of 10000 RMB/year), monthly allowance (1500 RMB), and comprehensive medical insurance.

3、CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
(1). Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
(2). Education background and age limit:
-Applicants for both the college and undergraduate programs must have a senior high school diploma with a good academic performance and be under the age of 30.
- Applicants for the master's degree program must have a bachelor's degree certificate and be under the age of 35.
- Applicants for the doctoral degree program must have a master's degree certificate and be under the age of 40.
(3). Applicants must agree to obey the relevant laws of the PRC and meet the admission requirements of the host universities or colleges.
(4). Applicants must have a good academic record.
(5). Applicants must provide with HSK certificate or other English certificate.
(6). Applicants cannot be recipients of other scholarships offered by Chinese government, local governments or other organizations simultaneously.

Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship
1、INTRODUCTION

APPLICATION FORM FOR NANJING GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
APFNet Scholarship
1、INTRODUCTION
Launched in 2010, APFNet Scholarship Program aims to support capable individuals - either forestry officials or researchers from the Asia-Pacific region pursue higher academic degrees in the field of sustainable forest management and rehabilitation, in cooperation with universities and institutions in China and the region. Advanced managerial knowledge, techniques and skills, as well as opportunities to the fields for practice and experience are provided, to improve the ability of those who will drive sustainable forest management and rehabilitation forward for the region.
APFNet entrusts its focal points in the Asia-Pacific economies as the main channel to recommend qualified applicants. Host universities are designated recruit and manage the awarded students in accordance with this Regulation and in particular, specific policies formulated( by each university) for international students．
At the meantime, constructive feedback from scholarship students are expected and encouraged back to APFNet and host universities to improve the Program.
Since 2014, APFNet has invited Nanjing Forestry University (NFU), China as the second host university under its Scholarship Program, together with Beijing Forestry University (BFU), to provide Master’s degree courses related to Sustainable Forest Management and rehabilitation.
2、CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
(1). A bachelor’s degree
(2). Age: 18 - 40, and in good health condition
(3). Officials, practitioners and researchers in forest or related sectors, at least 2 years of work experience
(4). Proficiency in English
(5). APEC economy (except China) residents prioritized
(6). Female applicants encouraged
The final selection of students will be based on the qualifications of each applicant, taking account of the regional balance, gender balance and appropriate proportion between forest personnel at central and local levels.
3、SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE
(1). Monthly stipend of CNY 1,700
(2). Accommodation on campus. When on-campus accommodation is not available, awarded students will receive accommodation allowances of CNY 800 per month for alternative lodging
(3). Comprehensive medical insurance
(4). Lump-sum payment of CNY 500 per year for outpatient medical services, regardless of actual costs
(5). One round trip international tickets between students’ home economy and China
3、APPLICATION PROCEDURES
(1). Deadline for application: February-April each year
(2). Channels for Application
APFNet focal point is the main channel for Scholarship Program. Each applicant shall apply through the APFNet focal point, who will preliminarily assess the application documents and nominate qualified applicants to APFNet.
(3). Application documents to be submitted (details in annual announcement)
(4). Review and admission
Technical shortlisting will be made by host universities and the recommendation lists to be passed to APFNet for final selection. The list of awarded students will be posted on APFNet website by each June/July, and the host university will be responsible for specific admission procedures.
(5).Travel to China and Campus registration
-The host university will send the Visa Application Form for Study in China with an Admission Notice to each successful applicant by June/July each year.
-The scholarship students shall apply to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General for the Visa for Studying in China, by providing a valid passport, Visa Application Form for Studying in China, and Admission Notice. They must also submit a completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form and bring all the aforementioned documents to China for registration at host universities.
-The international tickets from applications’ home economy to China will be booked and purchased by host universities.
4、APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Incomplete records or those without a sealed photograph of the applicant, the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital are invalid. Given the 6-month validity of the medical results, applicants should select the appropriate time to take the physical examination)
2. Certificate(s) of English language proficiency
-IELTS score no less than 6.0, Cambridge; Certificate in advanced English or TOFEL iBT score no less than 79, or other equivalent certificate that can prove the language ability.
(3). Recommendation letter(s) in English
-A letter will be provided by the applicant’s employer/organization to recommend the application;
-If the applicant is just graduated from a university, at least 2 recommendation letters from university professors are required;
(4). Notarized highest degree diploma and academic transcripts;
(5). A study or research plan in English;
(6). Other attachments deemed necessary to prove applicant’s ability.
Notes:
(1). The aforementioned documents shall be forwarded to the official focal points of APFNet by April 30 each year and will not be returned to the applicants regardless of whether they are accepted or not. Applicants are urged to make copies of all documents provided.
(2). The applicants are encouraged to contact the supervisors with whom they would like to study with BEFORE application is initiated. If applicants have already received an invitation letter from a host university supervisor, the letters should be attached to application documents.
