You also need to have a thorough medical check-up after you arrived at Baoding according to the regulation of Police Station; the fee is about 300 RMB.
Medical Insurance/ Health Plan
All students are required to be medically insured throughout their entire planned period of study. Students must at least be insured with Accidental Injuries and Hospitalization medical coverage. Keep in mind that students who do not have a valid medical insurance/health plan are not allowed to register.
You are required to purchase the Comprehensive Insurance Plan of Foreign Students provided by Ping An insurance company on the day of registration, which has been recognized and recommended by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

Registration of Your Residence at Local Police Station
In accordance with Rules For The Implementation of The Law of the People’ s Republic of China on Control of the Entry and Exit of Aliens, you must report and register your address within 24 hours upon your arrival to the local police station. If you live in a hotel temporarily, you do not need to do theses until you find a permanent accommodation. Failing to register accommodation to the local police station will be served a warning or fined up to 500 RMB per day.
