1.Housing

International students will be accommodated in the Student Apartment Building of Nanshan Campus.

Room Type: Double Room or Quadruple Room

Rent:

Single room: 7,000 RMB/year; 3,500 RMB/ semester

Double room: 3,500 RMB/year; 1,750 RMB/ semester

Utilities: utility fees are charged for electricity and water.

Room Facilities: bed, closet, shoe cupboard, air conditioner, water heater, desk and chair

Apartment facilities: shower room, lavatory, basin, and balcony.

2.Dining & Shopping

Chongqing University of Education has various student cafeterias and canteens, including several dining halls, which offer meals at lower prices than outside the campus. Campus stores sell books, magazines, stationeries and daily commodities. Near the campus there are also supermarkets, shopping centers, pubs and restaurants of different size and various kinds.

3.Health Care & Insurance

The University Hospital provides various health services including mental and physical health check as well as medical treatments in case of sickness and injuries. International students in CQUE are also required to join the Comprehensive Insurance & Protection Scheme for Foreigners Staying in China. The program is aimed to provide foreign students studying in China with financial assistance in case of receiving medical treatment at official medical institutions in China.

4.Computer Facilities

There are computer facilities available for students at the Library. Students can get connected to the internet there. Meanwhile,there are network interface in every dormitory. You can connect to the internet in your dormitory using your own computer.

5 .Extra-curricular Activities

In order to pursue a well-rounded student life, it is important that students spend some time for participating in extra-curricular activities and making Chinese friends. CQUE has many students associations, including traditional Chinese cultural activities and martial arts.
