North China University of Technology Application Information for international Students 2007 Short-term Program
1. Deadline for Application: January 3, 2007
2. From January 4, 2007 to January 31, 2007 (Four weeks in all, 28 days).
3. Tuition: 640 Yuan per week, 2560 Yuan for four weeks (textbook fee not included)
4. Application Fee: 240 Yuan
5. Accommodation Fee: single, 80 Yuan / person / day; double, 40 Yuan / person / day.
In every week, there are 20 hours of lessons from Monday to Friday in the morning.
Those who stay in NCUT beyond 28 days will pay for accommodation in accordance with the relevant provisions of the apartment.
In addition, during the study, the school also will arrange for students to visit the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall, which will enrich student’s life.
The school has modern teaching buildings, library, and art gallery, stadium with self-contained function, gym and swimming pools. There are large supermarkets, shopping centers, playgrounds, which provide convenience for the student's life. The school is located in Beijing with a developed transportation network which will facilitate travel for students.
Foreign students will be arranged to live in Hongye Apartment with communal kitchens, laundry room, reading room, gym and bar. Foreign students can cook their own food in the exclusive apartment kitchens, or dine in the school dining room, and cost about 15-30 Yuan per person per day. There are telephones, televisions and computer network interfaces, desks, wardrobes, air-conditionings, separate toilets and bathing facilities in their dormitories. (Note: the apartment provides 80 degree electricity for free for each student per month)
