Hebei Polytechnic University is a comprehensive university which was founded in 1958. It specializes in engineering technology, sciences as backbone and develops humanities and social science as supplements. The university consists of 17 departments, 1 teaching section, 3 provincial key laboratories, and 6 municipal level key laboratories. It offers undergraduate courses in 46 areas, two of which are provincial key majors, and 28 postgraduate programs. The number of students at all levels is over 2600.
The university has a long history of more than 10 years of foreign students educating. It has attracted students from all over the world to Chinese Language and Academic studies here on campus.
