In addition, the Mosuo culture at Lugu Lake is so simple and primitive that it is called the most precious living fossil of mankind’s matriarchal societies. In Muli Tibetan Autonomous County, there are the typical political systems which integrate the church and the state. The relics of the Red Army’s Long March are important parts of Liangshan tourist resources. The Xichang Satellite Launch Center is the first launch site open to the outside world, gaining enormous publicity for the prefecture at home and abroad.
